There are a lot of singers that figure let’s play a character on television or in a movie some time and they go ahead and do that. It makes me think about brands that normally sell skincare products and then decide to extent their offerings and start selling perfume as well. Some singers are like a brand and stand for something, like elegance, style, bad, tough etc. Some Brands use this image if the singers  to sell their products. Probably the film industry use these singers as well for their image and to attract certain people. Anywhay there are a lot of singers playing in films. Some do it once and others keep popping up in different movies. Here are some surprisingly good actors that are known as singers as well. And one day they thought, let’s try to act in a movie or television series. And so they did, and in my opinion they nailed it:

Being in the Christmas spirit and all that. I took the liberty to summon up some of my favorite movies to watch during Christmas.

The interesting thing about Christmas movies is that they are only fun when it is Christmas. And that they are part of your Christmas experience to enhance and empathize that warm fuzzy family feeling during this time. I don’t know how it is in your country but here in the Netherlands they always repeat the same movies every year and we all sit down together and watch them every year.The sense of being together watching the movies is taken with you as a wonderful memory. While life changes and Christmas Changes, these movies stay with you always.

Some of the classic movies that are always shown every year are Annie , E.T. , Home Alone, Gone with the Wind, It’s a Wonderful Life, Disney Marry Poppins, Pippi Langkous. Because they repeat these movies every year during Christmas, they are associated with Christmas I am very happy a

So I went to see the Next Episode of Star Wars, the last Jedi. A very remarkable movie I was torn at the end to form an opinion about it. It had some great pointers and some less memorable things. Most of all it is unclear what will happen next and how the movie will go on.

What I missed was a new creative character that gets a prominent role throughout the movie and stays in your mind afterwards. The creature that you want to buy merchandise of. I felt it was more a recapitulation of everybody that has appeared in the earlier episodes and less of an introduction to a new character or alliance like there usually is always at least one. There were some new creatures that appeared that were very nice and cute but they did not quite cut it compared to the creatures that appeared in the Episodes before like Ewok, Jarjar, Bobba Fett, Jabba the Hutt, Maz Kanata, etc 

I had expected more on the matter Rey finding Luke Skywalker and becoming a Jedi with his guidance. I

Working with the shop seeing all kinds of merchandise of artists, made me remember my younger years. I was a huge Fan of the Boy Band Take That. They made me cry, laugh and I really loved them truly and forever for 3 whole years like a crazy person.

Looking at the young ones these days they also have this crazy love for Justin Bieber, Direct, Selena Gomes and all those younger singers. I did notice that these crushes of the younger fans exist more often towards younger artists. Probably because they can relate more to them. I remember going to all their concerts and clapping my hands like an out of control seal and screaming my longs out knocking my voice out for 2 days. But In the end it was so worth it. It felt like I was doing this for them and I would do anything for them.

My room was full of posters, my collection was huge and I taped everything on television (in these times we still had video recorders). It gave me a mission and nothing else mattered except for

This movie is so powerful it continues te be exciting to stay watching it. I think I have watched it 100 times by now and I am not exaggerating. But what is it that keeps you wanting more. I thought about the issue because it is the only movie I watched so many times over and over again. After seeing it, some time passes by and I have to see it again. Then I am sitting here for 10 hours knowing what will come next. Some lines I even know by heart and still I am looking forward to that particular scene. But that’s it there are so many scenes that are incredibly well made and written it is impressive even after the 100th time.

Let’s summarize some particular moments I personally find memorable and these get me hooked every time; the scene where Elrond the founder of Rivendel overhands Aragorn the sword of Isildur after a great well thought off speech why he is giving it now and did not do this before. Also several extremely cool fighting scenes of Legolas were it n
